They left their homelands and endured many hardships in hopes of a better life in America. Without their bravery, I wouldn't be here in this great country where I am able to persue my dreams. A page for that persons family will come up. Each page has a family card. Visualize the family card as an immediate family -- a person and spouse in the middle, children at the bottom, and parents at the top. You'll use the parent or child buttons to navigate up or down your family tree -- backward or forward in time. By clicking on a parent, you go immediately to the parent's family card, where the parents appear in the middle of the screen. Their children's names will appear in buttons below, and their respective parents will be listed above. By clicking on a child's button, you travel to the child's immediate family, and the child appears in the middle of the screen. IMPORTANT! The web family card doesn't include all details about each person. Rather, it is a navigational screen with enough details to see where you are in the family file. To see much much more information about each person, click on their name. This will take you to their "person sheet". Also if there is a camera icon next to their name, click on that to see more or larger pictures. If you don't go to the "person sheets" you will miss out on a lot of biographical information!
